steel poles with invisible seams

Making longitudinal welding seams invisible requires the use of modern Plasma Arc Welding (PAW) machines. Thus, we can obtain attractive looking seams by applying very effective yet invisible welds. The welds show good melting parameters and almost a flat face, which makes them practically invisible after galvanizing or painting. Poles with invisible welding seams have recently become a standard on the western markets and are gradually replacing the SAW welded poles due to the high quality and unprecedented aesthetic qualities. All poles manufactured by Valmont Poland are being fabricated in both options through the current transitory period.

Valmont has decided to introduce a new line of traffic system products. These are traffic signal poles, which complete our market offer. The wide range of the selection of structures allows the customers to cover all the requirements of road projects using traffic signal systems. Our offer includes structures used for the installation of traffic lights for one or more road lanes; we also offer gates with signal lights and small poles used at pedestrian crossings. Masts with mobile crowns are our other proposal. Recommended height of such mast is 20 to 40m with possibility to mount 3 to 20 projectors togehter with their equipment. Crowns are designed for mounting symetric as well as asymetric projectors what allows to avoid problems with obscurity.

telecommunication towers

tram poles

Valmont’s offer includes multi-layer tram RCM poles, stepped tubular poles with variable diameters and polygonal poles. Multilayer poles are round section products with taper rates between 17 and 22 mm/m. These are structures with reduced thickness and a small base diameter. Tubular poles can be single-, double or triple-stepped. Construction of the polygonal poles provides protection against shear forces and ensures the optimum weight of the pole.

aluminum poles

Our offer also includes the full range of heights for aluminum poles, from 3 up to 18 m. Advantages of aluminum poles: long service life, light weight, high aesthetic qualities, painting and anodizing option or recycling. The use of new manufacturing technology and materials with the highest flexibility allows very good strength parameters of such poles to be obtained.
